How To Dress For Cool-Weather Cycling!

Changing of the seasons does not mean the end of your cycing season!
All it takes to enjoy fall/winter cycling is the right clothing. We carry a full selection to keep you warm, dry and comfortable no matter what mother nature throws at you. Follow our guidelines below to keep you warm and toasty.
Here are a few helpful hints to get you started:
*When mountain biking dress for temperatures 10 degrees warmer. Mountain biking is a full body exercise and you won't have wind chill in the woods.
*When dressing for a road ride dress for temperatures 10 degrees cooler. On the road you are traveling faster and have to combat the wind chill.
*Moisture is the enemy when trying to keep warm. Always look for moisture wicking materials and never wear cotton!
*Layer, Layer, Layer. During a ride lots of things can change including the weather. Dressing with layers you will be better prepared for such changes. Make sure to look for cycling specific clothing with valuable pockets for storing all you're extra layers.
* A vest will be the best cycling purchase you will ever make!
